Villeneuve-de-la-Raho
A very desireable town with quick access into Perpignan. The lake is the great thing about this town, made up of two lakes which you can walk/run/cycle around (7km in total). In the summer you can swim in the lake and there are various pop up restaurants where you can enjoy the view of Canigou in the distance. There are also cycle tracks into Perpignan all the way to the coast. The old village part is located on top of the hill, with new subdivisions/lotissements been built all the time. Newly created shops are also located in the newer part which means you propbably don't have to drive to a supermarket if you didn't want too. There is a stade and tennis courts.

Considerations
The lake, the view of Canigou, restaurants in the summer, all the necessary amenities like pharmacy, mini supermarket, boulangerie, butchers, etc. Close to Perpignan and the coast.
Some of the new housing is on small sections . If it's a hot summer swimming in the lake may not be possible.
