About this place ...

Saint-Nazaire

A small village separated from the coast by the lagoon. Although it has a couple of camp sites, it's no where near as touristy as the villages on the coast. It has a nice cycle path linking it to Canet and Saint Cyprien and is not far from the shops and services in Cabestany.

It makes a nice base for people who wish to live close to the beaches but set back from them in a more authentic village.

Positives
Considerations

Proximity to the beach towns. Quiet. Good cycle-paths. On the banks of the lagoon for bird-watchers.

Mosquitos in summer. Not as accessible as other villages in the that area.

Roussillon plain
