Salanque

Towns and villages on the flat plains to the north of Perpignan and the river Tet. Rivesaltes is the largest town but the growing villages of Pia and Bompas can be considered suburbs of Perpignan.

Convenient for both Perpignan and the coast as well as travelling north to the Languedoc. Relatively low property prices. Has large commercial centres and a growing network of cycle tracks.

Considerations

Very flat countryside.
